???It was unreal,??? said Trowbridge, ???because we were on the slow troll. I felt the little tuna bait get shaky, you know, real twitchy, and he ran, then stopped, and then ran again. I thought maybe a shark was after him because we had a lot of sharks and I had already lost a big fish to sharks. Then he got that bait and it was game on!???
Doug said he fished with an 11/0 Mustad 7691 hook on 130-pound Momoi line and 130-pound Line One Spectra backing on a Penn 50 SW reel and a 6460 XH Calstar rod. It was his best fish, and the first one over 200 pounds.
