Captain Shawn Steward took 28 passengers down to the Ridge,offshore,and Cedros Island where they caught a total of 311 yellowtail, 257 tuna, 20 wahoo, and 2 dorado. The largest fish was caught by Tony Gibson from Lake forest it weighed 170.5lbs. 2nd went to Craig Collins from Rio Rico AZ. 163.2lbs. tuna, 3rd is Van Zallweg From San Clemente Ca. 134.8lbs. tuna.

Tim Chen from Hunington Beach snagged 1st place by flylining a mackeral and caught a 121.6lbs. tuna. 2nd went to Cliff Karp 44.0lbs tuna, an Corey Wright 43.0lbs. tuna. this trip ended up with 56 yellowtail, 200 yellofin tuna.

From San Dimas Ca. George got a 205.0lbs. tuna.

From Costa Mesa, Scott caught a 225.0lbs. tuna.

From Orange Ca. Bob just made the 200lbs. club.

Captain Tommy Rothery took only nine anglers on a private charter down to the Hurricane Bank where they caught limits of tuna and wahoo. Captain Tommy also estimated over 70 tuna between 120.0lbs. and 190.0lbs were released. From Left to Right the 1st place goes to Charlie Middleton, San Pablo Ca., 243.0lbs. yellowfin tuna, 2nd goes to Allen Tokunaga from North Hollywood, 231.0lbs. tuna, 3rd is 225.0lbs. tuna.

Krist Keitz from Santa Monica Ca. with a 241.2lbs. yeelowfin tuna.

James Hasselberg from San Marcos took first with a 353.9lbs. tuna. 2nd goes to Joe Sholl from L.A. with a 266.0lbs. and 3rd is Phillip Williams from Southern Cal. with a 249.1lbs. The boat got 5 over 200 and 30 over 100.

First long range trip in many years and Chris from San Diego caught his first 200#. Standing with Chris is Captain Andy Cates.

Don Dremming From Conneticut took 1st place with a 247.0lbs. tuna he caught on a skipjack. 2nd goes to Fred Knilans from Tustin Ca. 232.9lbs. caught on a squid and helium ballon combo. 3rd place is Rick Ozaki 228.8lbs tuna. Captain Andy Cates was down at the Hurricane Bank where his passengers ended up with 141 yellowfin tuna and 60 wahoo.

From Irvine Ca. Ichiro Shintsubo with 1st place 263.0lbs. tuna. 2nd goes to Ron Watanabe from Carson City 218.5lbs. tuna and 3rd is Taka Tanaka from Anaheim 177.3lbs.

Jack West from Maryland took 1st with a 255.0lbs. tuna 2nd Greg Fox from Hawaii 234.0lbs. Jack West also took 3rd with a 231.0lbs. The photo shows the 4th largest fish of the trip. 1st and 2nd flew home. From L. to R. David Okamoto from Long Beach and Wade Abbott from Hobbs New Mexico both had fish at 227.0lbs. The trip fished the Hurricane Bank and ended with limits of wahoo and yellowfin tuna, 16 of those tuna were over 200.0lbs.
