James Hasselberg from San Marcos took first with a 353.9lbs. tuna. 2nd goes to Joe Sholl from L.A. with a 266.0lbs. and 3rd is Phillip Williams from Southern Cal. with a 249.1lbs. The boat got 5 over 200 and 30 over 100.

First long range trip in many years and Chris from San Diego caught his first 200#. Standing with Chris is Captain Andy Cates.

Don Dremming From Conneticut took 1st place with a 247.0lbs. tuna he caught on a skipjack. 2nd goes to Fred Knilans from Tustin Ca. 232.9lbs. caught on a squid and helium ballon combo. 3rd place is Rick Ozaki 228.8lbs tuna. Captain Andy Cates was down at the Hurricane Bank where his passengers ended up with 141 yellowfin tuna and 60 wahoo.

From Irvine Ca. Ichiro Shintsubo with 1st place 263.0lbs. tuna. 2nd goes to Ron Watanabe from Carson City 218.5lbs. tuna and 3rd is Taka Tanaka from Anaheim 177.3lbs.

Jack West from Maryland took 1st with a 255.0lbs. tuna 2nd Greg Fox from Hawaii 234.0lbs. Jack West also took 3rd with a 231.0lbs. The photo shows the 4th largest fish of the trip. 1st and 2nd flew home. From L. to R. David Okamoto from Long Beach and Wade Abbott from Hobbs New Mexico both had fish at 227.0lbs. The trip fished the Hurricane Bank and ended with limits of wahoo and yellowfin tuna, 16 of those tuna were over 200.0lbs.

From La Canada, John tied into a 205.0lbs. tuna he got while soaking a squid on the kite.

From Carlsbad Ca. Heinz broke the 200# mark.

Captain Brian Sims out on a 19 day took home limits of tuna and six fish over 200.0lbs. fishing the Hurricane Bank. 1st place goes to Paul Berinson from Temecula with a 253.2lbs. tuna on a puffer fish and kite. 2nd went to Pete Fallini from Santa Pala with a 213.5lbs. tuna and 3rd is Richard Gallimore also from Santa Pala with a 211.0lbs.

Susan from Oxnard was on her 2nd trip and ended up with two tuna over 200#!.

From Fountain Valley Glen with a 230.0lbs. tuna

From Charlotte, North Carolina, Dave picked up two over 200#, a 210 and 206.

Rich Rose from Manhatten Beach Scored three tuna over 200# and won the jackpot with this 246.0lbs. In 2nd Place is Art Green 232.0lbs. And Rich Minchner from Oxnard with a 215.0lbs. Captain John Grabowski fished the Hurricane Bank for 176 tuna, 37 yellowtail, 21 Wahoo, there was 20 tuna over 200#

Jay Robinson from Manhatten Beach took home the Seeker Rod,s trophy with a 215.0lbs. tuna. Presenting the trophy is Joe Pfister.

Just in from a 20 day trip the Royal Polaris.

Frank Harbin from Chico Ca. hauled in 1st place with a 246.0lbs. tuna. 2nd is Mike Brown from Redwood Ca. with a 229.0lbs. tuna and 3rd is Mike Donahue from Hunington Beach Ca. 223.0lbs. tuna. Captain Roy Rose took his passengers down to the Morgan Bank and the Hurricane Bank for limits of yellowfin tuna.

Captain Andy Cates took his passengers down to Mexican waters where they ended up with 12 tuna over 200.lbs. Captain Andy is now over 100 tuna that weigh 200lbs. or more for this season. 1st place goes to Norm Fujimoto from Fullerton Ca. 256.3lbs. tuna Capt. Andy Cates is holding the fish. 2nd goes to Gene Kooms from San Mateo Ca. with a 234.0lbs. tuna caught on the kite. 3rd is Bud Brittin from Santee Ca. 228.0lbs. caught on a skipjack.
