From Orange Ca. John got into some tuna action with this 60.0lbs. tuna.

Captain Tim Ekstrom was out on a 17 day trip and had good quality fishing for both tuna and wahoo. 1st place goes to John Pettey from Orange, Ca. who was flylining a Cabillito and hauled in this cow. 2nd is Dick Langlois from Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. was yoyoing a jig at 5am and caught a 170.0lbs. tuna. 3rd is Rob Kelber who was flylining a bait the first day and caught this 136.0lbs. tuna.

From La Mesa, Ca. Don was fishing the kite and landed this whopper.

Stan from Carpendria was flylining a sardine and caught this fine tuna.

From Lake Elsinore here is Bob Pound's son Robbie who stood in for the shot of this huge tuna.

There was some big fish on this trip but did not count for jackpot here is 1st place from aka Compton Ca. Stas Vellonakis with a 215.7lbs. 2nd is Alan Johnston from Yucaipa with a 207.3lbs. and 3rd is Bill Nakaki from Tracy with a 171.2lbs.

From Marino Valley, Ed was on the kite and caught the big fish of the trip his wife jean also caught 2nd place. Standing with Ed is Captain Jeff DeBoys.

1st place goes to Richard Newbern with a 86.09lbs. tuna, 2nd is Jean Walker from Marino with a 62.0lbs. tuna and 3rd is Chris Cote from Escondido with a 59.0lbs. tuna.

Jeff is from Hunington Beach and was out flylining a 'dine and caught this fine tuna.

Captain Tim Ekstrom took his passenger's down to Clipperton Atoll where the fishing was spotty until the last couple of day's when they caught limits of yellowfin tuna. 1st place goes to Dee Boruwer with a 215.8lbs. tuna, 2nd is Chris Poly from Small Meadows with a 208.0lbs. tuna, and 3rd is Cal Sheets with a 207.0lbs. yellowfin tuna.

Down from Kamis Washington Ron hauled in this yellowfin which was mixed in with the albacore tuna.

Down from Oceanside Jim caught this nice yellowfin tuna.

From San Diego Brian caught a respectable tuna. Standing with Brian is Capt. Roy Rose.

Kathy cracked 200# with this beauty which went 226.1lbs. on the scale.

From Park City UT. Father and son team, team Noble caught a 206.0lbs and a 191.0lbs. tuna.

With a total of 143 tuna for the trip and 40 wahoo here's your 1st place, Jerry Brown from Gold Hill OR. with a 266.1lbs. Capt. roy is standing in for Jerry. 2nd is Don Burnside from S.D. with a 247.01lbs. and also caught 3rd with a 232.09lbs.

Ken say's they were outside of Chester Rocks when a little batch of yellowfin poped up.
